The bottle says, “this isn’t your typical green sauce” and that is very true. This is a really good sauce. White wine vinegar base brings some good flavor. The forward flavor is the vinegar and garlic, which is very good and then you get the heat of the jalapenos and poblano peppers. I would like to experience a little more of the green apple. It brought an awesome texture, but I would liked to have more of the taste of the granny smith apples. Still, a very good sauce for when you want something that is not going to be seriously hot but need good flavor. I used this on a margherita pizza and it complemented it very well. I give it 4 out of 5 as I would really like to taste the apple.
