From their website:
Haffs Hot Sauce is a small batch company based out of New Philadelphia, Ohio. All our sauces are all natural and are made with Ohio peppers. We strive to bring you a sauce that you will want to use on everything from desserts to savory dishes.
As a fellow Buckeye, it's nice to try products and support local to our state. At the $1 that I paid for this bottle, it was more than a great value. This is another one of those sauces that you just want to try.
Don't look at the ingredients list first. I say this because I know some people say I'm not going to try a sauce if it has water or vinegar is the first ingredient and this one has those for the first two ingredients.
Full list of ingredients is as follows: water, distilled vinegar, medium yellow onion, Carolina reaper mash, mustard seed, garlic, garlic powder, lemon extract, and sea salt.
As you can tell from the picture of the spoon I tried of this stuff it's fairly thick. I immediately tasted the mustard flavor and a little Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah provided by the reaper mash contained within. While the bottle says nine out of 10 for the heat, that would be a normal person rating. For us chiliheads, it just has a nice little bite to it. I would give it four out of 10 for heat, but the flavor was excellent at a solid 8 of 10.
The label says: more cowbell is a brutally hot and udderly delicious lemon mustard reefer sauce. This heifer goes great on tacos, in Chile, tossed with wings, and makes a cheesesteak even more awesome. Milk this sauce for all it's worth. I know we will.
I found this sauce highly enjoyable on my baked potatoes for dinner tonight. It shows on the website this is relaunching soon and is sold out at the moment. If you have the chance to try this one I highly recommend it.
