Extreme Smokey Karma
Quick answer: YES! Yes! Yes! Yes!
Who doesn’t love a creamy, gooey, piping-hot bowl of the all-time classic macaroni and cheese?
If you’re reading this blog, you’re likely a huge hot sauce lover like me, who can barely go to any meal without dabbing your favorite pepper goodness onto whatever is on your plate.
I think there’s no better way to spice things up than by adding your favorite hot sauces to good old mac and cheese.
After trying many combinations throughout the years, I came up with a list of five I’ve consistently returned to.
Read ahead to see these excellent choices for a unique but satisfying hot sauce on mac and cheese experience!
Bravado Spice Co. Black Garlic Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce
Only 1 left in stock
When you take savory black garlic, add it with one of the world’s hottest peppers, and add a drop of sweet maple, a star is born. The heat is intense, but not overpowering. Your taste buds will thank you on this one. Bravado Spice Co. always brings it with their sauce creations, and it should be no surprise to pepper sauce fans that they made this list.
Karma Sauce Extreme Smokey Karma Hot Sauce
In stock
I love a smoky flavor, and no hot sauce embodies smoky flavor better than Extreme Smokey Karma. With its butternut squash base, you won’t get a thin and vinegary disappointment. Instead, your mac and cheese will be blessed with a thick and flavorful hot sauce that adds an unbelievable new layer of depth and heat!
PepperNutz Jalapeno Hot Sauce
Out of stock
Sometimes, all a bowl of mac and cheese needs is just a straight jalapeño pepper flavor, and I found no better hot sauce than the jalapeño offering from PepperNutz to achieve this. The sauce contains just enough spice that even the most heat-sensitive person can handle—and enjoy!
Fartley Farms Fart Murmur Scorpion Garlic Hot Sauce
If you love the flavor of jalapeño but need more heat and a sauce loaded with garlic, this hot sauce has that winning combination! I promise you that you will feel like you got stung by a scorpion when you first have this, but the flavor is on point and mixes nicely with all the cheese varieties you could choose for mac and cheese.
Paulman Acre Smoked Pepper Hot Sauce
Another fantastic smoked pepper hot sauce makes the list, but this one is unlike Karma’s. Fruity flavors from mango, papaya, and pineapple, combined with apple-smoked habaneros, give this hot sauce an interesting twist, but it blends perfectly with mac and cheese.
Hopefully, you can tell from my picks that I like similar yet a variety of hot sauces that mix well with mac and cheese.
I can go extra hot with Bravado, Karma, and Fartley Farms.
PepperNutz and Paulman Acre have me covered if I want to dial it back.
If I’m feeling garlic? That’s covered. Smoky? Yep, they’re there.
Please pick up a couple, or all five, and let me know what you think!
