This sauce is beyond its listed “Best By” Date. While this is not the same as a true “expiration” date, we like to give our hot sauce fans a big discount if we were not able to sell the sauce before the best by date listed. Brian Ambs teamed up with High Desert Sauce Co.’s Zac Perkins to make what Brian calls “a sauce that I never thought could be achieved”.

Well, Brian, it was achieved, and it’s one of the best hot sauces of all time.

First, Creaminess hits you up from the avocado oil.
Then, the tang comes from the 50/50 mix of Apple Cider Vinegar and Distilled Vinegar.
Finally, the peppers and spice blend lead you to a flavor experience unlike any other.

From the Ghost Peppers and Scotch Bonnets, to the cumin and paprika, to the fire roasted garlic and carrots to, of course…the saffron, this collab has taken the hot sauce world by storm.

Heat Level: Medium
Ingredients: Fire Roasted Tomato, Cider Vinegar, Distilled Vinegar, Peppers (Scotch Bonnet – Ghost Pepper), Fire Roasted Carrot, Roasted & Fresh Garlic, Roasted Yellow Onion, Avocado Oil, Kosher Salt, Agave, Lime Juice, Smoked Paprika, Toasted Cumin Seed, Mexican Oregano, Spanish Saffron

This is my favorite got sauce right now

This is my favorite got sauce right now. Good heat, good, umami, a gravy like consistency that pours well and sticks wel, good depth of flavor with enough brightness but without a distinct vinegar kick, and a tiny hint of smokiness.

Blow Your Mind

This one is a must try. Flavor, consistency, heat.... this one has it all. Great on tacos and chicken. Zac from High Desert hit this one out of the park. Southwest vibes with a hit of saffron. Once you try this one you will be hooked.

I am a huge High Desert fan. Zac knows how to bring the flavor. Good piling hot sauce that clings to everything. Not too spicy.... just right.

Man! I believe this sauce gets all the props everyone has been giving it on the hot sauce groups! Again, this was another one with thanks to @flowercityflavorcompany for providing me with this bottle of deliciousness. I'm talking about Hotter Ghost of Saffron which is a collaboration from @highdesertsauceco and @brianambs .

I never had the pleasure of trying the original sauce, but I know that everybody was saying it wasn't hot enough so that's why they made a hotter version. I'm not saying that there's anything at all wrong with the heat level of this. It is described as hot on the bottle. To me it lands at about a two or three at most out of 10. Again, flavor is where it's at though! The stuff is absolutely delicious. I might have to go as far as giving it a 10 out of 10 on the flavor department. It's so good!

The sauce has a bit of a thicker consistency, which I don't mind at all. I would describe it as a medium thickness. Ingredients list is as follows: fire roasted tomato, vinegar, peppers which are smoked ghost yellow and Scotch bonnets, fire roasted carrots, roasted garlic, roasted onion, avocado oil, fresh garlic, salt, agave nectar, smoked paprika, toasted cumin seed, lime juice, Mexican oregano, and saffron. It's just got a great flavor that would go good on so much stuff. It's got so much going on, I can't even really describe it. It is very complex and satisfying. This is one that you could definitely just drink out of the bottle if you felt like it.
