Bravado Spice Co. Black Garlic Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce

This is a quite good savory hot sauce, and black garlic sounds intriguing, but whatever that color of garlic tastes like, it doesn't really pop in this, and so the sauce is overshadowed by Bravado's Aka Miso sauce, which has much more character. And if you're looking for a change from Aka Miso that's still on the savory high-heat side, Seed Ranch's Hot Thai Green and Karma's Burn After Eating sauces have much more character than Black Garlic Carolina Reaper.

I got this one after having a number of Bravado sauces. I have had them from mild to super crazy hot like the Aka Miso which is hot as heck and one of my all time favorites. This Black Garlic Carolina Reaper is a solid sauce. It is nice and salty, has some great taste, a great punch of vinegar, and then some good heat. It is not crazy heat where you have to be careful how much you put on. You can get the great taste of the Carolina Reaper but I would like to have a more taste of the garlic which I am not exactly detecting. This has a nice robust flavor and will give you a little forehead sweat. It is definitely worth a try. This would be good on some rice, chicken, on some pizza, even in mashed potatoes (try it! 😊). I will give this a solid 4 out 5 stars as it is good, but feels like it is missing something…. Or they just flat out spoiled me with the Aka Miso.

My mouth is still on fire. Perfect in chili, mixed with mac and cheese, and for spicing up a burger. One of the best non-extract super-hot hot sauces I've ever had!
