Dark Balsamic Vinegar has gained popularity in the culinary world relatively recently. However, the ingredient actually dates as far back as 900 years ago.
Originally made in Italy, balsamic vinegar is still made today by using a similar process as it was back then. Only two regions can lay claim to authentic balsamic vinegar. First, is Modena. Second, is Reggio Emilia. Ours come from the former.
