PepperNutz ROC’n Reaper Hot Sauce

Gooood Hot! Excellent chicken wing sauce addition!

I have had other PepperNutz sauces in the past, so when I saw this one I was excited to try it and it does not disappoint. Red wine vinegar base, which was unbelievably present and forward in the Roc City Ghost Pepper sauce, but not as much here. The texture is really really good. The flavor is really really good. You get a lot of the flavors of the peppers (reaper, piquillo, and peri peri), get some garlic and the vinegar, and then you get to the heat after you get to enjoy the flavors. The heat is great as well. I mature heat, as I call it, where it is not heat forward, but lets you enjoy the sauce and then also finish with heat. The heat is not super hot, but a very nice level. They say they only use the finest natural ingredients and you can tell.

Finally a Carolina Reaper hot sauce that's hot, but not deadly. The tomato base definitely helps tone down the heat but more important gives it a nice balance of flavor. I've been wanting an extreme heat "table" hot sauce and this one fits that description.
