THIS SAUCE TAKES YOU ON A JOURNEY!!! I have had almost half of this bottle, only using a small portion on some Mexican rice and refried beans and the rest drinking it from a shot glass!!! ...because it's that good and I don't want to lose it on food! :) I am indeed going to put some on a burrito and some grilled chicken. It would be good on some fish and would KILL IT in jumbalaya with some shrimp.
This sauce takes you on a journey. The first thing I noticed is the sauce has a nice spice (not hot, just good cajun spices) and was a little sweet which was very intriguing and neat. The label says it has molasses, pineapple juice, and banana. Maybe that's the sweet part? ...but then it has some AWESOME heat. My lips were left burning and you get some serious heat, but not hot right out of the gate where you lose flavor. This stuff has serous flavor. Not thick, not thin, has a great texture.
The thing I like about it the most is the true flavor trip this sauce takes you on and then finishing with a real respectable heat. It will make you sweat, but not kill you.
A must try! ...and then try again! :)
