Torchbearer Sauces Reaper Evil Hot Sauce

Torchbearer is definitely a favorite maker for me. They have flavors upon flavor and dang they can make some really hot sauces that are just flat out good. If you haven’t tried sauces from these guys, you definitely need to!

The name of this one is a little scary and the sauce is appropriately named as this one will get you. Torchbearer says they don’t use extracts to add the heat in any of their sauces, it is all from peppers, and this one is mind-blowingly hot for natural flavor and heat. You can smell the heat. When I need a good butt kicking, I use this sauce and it works every time.

I will say this one is a large percentage hot and a lesser percentage flavor, but I think it was designed to be that: heat. Ingredients are: reaper pepper, habanero pepper, garlic, distilled vinegar, onion, back pepper, and garlic powder. Not a lot there to add flavor, but dang is it hot, yet still so good! I had to slow down using this one to actually save some to be able to sit down and sample for this review. It goes fast!

I am absolutely in love with Torchbearer’s The Rapture sauce and I have to say this Reaper Evil is a very close second to The Rapture.
