I love hummus – it tastes great, and it is easy to make.
Forget the store brands that can use soybean oil vs. olive oil and have a lot of unnecessary preservatives like sodium benzoate.
Hummus is healthy when you avoid these traps, so take a stab at this easy homemade hummus recipe!
2 cans garbanzo beans
3 tablespoons tahini
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper
1. Open the two garbanzo bean cans, strain, and save all the liquid from one can.
2. Add 1 can of garbanzo beans, 3 tablespoons tahini, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1/2 cup saved liquid.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds).
3. Add the second can of garbanzo beans and an additional 1/4 to 1/2 saved liquid (depending on how thick you prefer your hummus).
Blend until smooth.
4. Enjoy with pretzels, pita chips, veggies, or whatever you like.

An awesome recipe that totally elevates regular old hummus! The Tuscan herb olive oil is freaking amazing adding a unique depth that tied everything together perfectly.
